Just as good as I remember it. Dark for a rioja. Stewed plums and a hint of alcohol on the nose. The palate is sublime. Medium bodied and silky, combining serious savoury dark fruit with waves of leather and tobacco. The tannins are abundant but super fine giving massive length. This will keep going for a long time. Christmas lunch ‘22 wif ma squeeze.
