It is Friday and it has been hot here in the Chicago area. I have chosen the 2012 Marie-Pierre Manciat Pouilly-Fuisse Les Petites Bruyeres.

The nose has apple, fresh cut pear, lemon peel, Apple blossom, almond, honeysuckle and limestone.

The first sip brings on tropical fruit of pineapple, passionfruit, lemon meringue, mango, and wet flint rocks minerality.

There is a fresh vibrant medium acidity with a crisp long finish.

A very pleasant summer wine that make the heat bearable.

Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷
