Nice, vibrant Chianti providing fresh layers of red and blue fruits with a slight earthy under note.

Pretty good but not as big and bold as we like. Light yet flavorful.

The nose is quite complex for an entry level Chianti with red and dark cherry, raspberry, licorice, vanilla, light barnyard, and even hint of truffle. The palate is more standard affair. Tart. Dusty tannins. Goes down too easy with pizza.

Lovely expression of the form. Just a proper Chianti made like a classic should be. Paired well with my turkey dinner.
