Umbria Grechetto

First time trying this Umbrian white varietal. Straw yellow color with green highlights. Aromas white flowers, anise and citrus fruit. Flavors of pineapple, lemon, guava, almonds and a heavy dose of stony minerals. Touch of bitterness on the medium finish. Chalky texture, nice freshness and crisp acidity. Better when it airs out a bit. Excellent QPR!
