Very approachable. More developed than expected. Softer tannins than prior bottling.

Very evolved for a 2011 Barolo. Orange at the edges, tar, pepper, bitter.

This is still a baby. Dried florals, dark cherry, plum, tar, tea leaf and blood orange. Powerful structure - high acid and tannin - with a dense core of fruit just waiting to unfurl. Immense length here though too giving such depth.

The nose is so elegant with rose, tar, dried red fruits, savory earth and smoked meat. Massive structure with chewy tannin. Some black tea on the finish. Great potential but also approachable now. Love it!

BYOB. Drinking well already. 11's are early drinkers.

Brilliant. Decant first 30 mins and revel in its complexity and gorgeous fruit.

I had the pleasure of having this wonderful Barolo from the Langhe the other day. This wine paired well with the New York Strip I had.

The wine showed nice expressive red fruit of dried cherries, strawberry, red plum, notes of cola, pottery clay, newly tilled soil and soft hints of oak.

The palate had big cherry notes but not over powering or jammy, pleasing strawberry, fig, a nice earthy minerality and dried roses on the backend.

The wine has Medium + acidity, gripping Medium + tannins and is well balanced with a smooth rounded full mouth feel with a long pleasurable finish.

This is a very well made bottle of wine that can be cellared for another 10+ years but on this day was enjoyable now in my opinion.

Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷🖒

Amazing nose of toasted bread, orange peel, coffee, flowers...very complex. Volume, with relatively good tannins for what a Barolo can be. Good length
