Mountain red, not Cab. Delish and elegant red fruits. Broader, more silky style, round and plush without being fat. Good spice component. 2011 vintage-which is saying something-a tough, cool year.

Pulled the 2011 out of the cellar. What a treat. Great dark berries and plum. Tannins have pretty much dissipated with age. Nice oak. Just what I was hoping it would taste like. The fruit and vanilla on the nose is amazing.
