Never been a big fan of Pinot from SA but this one hits the spot !

on first sip, light bodied pinot noir. it has some cherry flavors and notes of hazelnut and black pepper.

it filled out overtime to a more lush and fruity pinot noir that cuts through the juicy, fat of a carbonara.
