👃 Pronounced intensity of black fruit (cassis, black plums), cooked fruit (jamminess, raisins), pungent spice (black pepper), oak (cedar) and bottle ageing (tobacco). This wine is developing.
👅 Dry, high acidity, high tannins, high alcohol (15%ABV), full bodied. Pronounced intensity echoing the nose plus pencils shavings and chocolate. Long finish.
✍️ Outstanding. Can drink now, but has potential for ageing.

Really loving this for winter or by a fire. HEAVY but has the rustic feel of South African Cab - a certain grit to it. The nose will throw you off but definitely dive into it, it’s ready to drink in the 2014 vintage already. Heavy complex - unlike a Bordeaux.
