Lingua Franca
Estate Eola - Amity Hills Pinot Noir

vivid ruby; muted aromatics, red berries, cherries, potpourri, dusty earth, pine needles; very tart red fruits, prominent minerality on the finish; medium body, high acidity, prominent fine grained, 13% ABV; first vintage sourced from their estate vineyard, 25% whole cluster inclusion, aged in 25% new French oak for 12 months and then 4 months in tank; still a bit tight at this point but suspect it will reward long term cellaring; $50

A beauty. Demonstrating what a little age will do to this beautiful wine. Fantastic dinner with Lingua Franca founder Larry Stone.

Excellent. Simply delicious. Red fruits. Touch of spice. Would drink this all day and never complain.

Beautiful nose of floral notes. Medium acidity with crisp tannins.

I am going with Jeff’s rating here. Touch herbaceous they most likely included stems. Gorgeous color. Mostly dark berries. Hint tart cherries and chalk. A good wine but not super complex. It needs a couple of years to come together. Pricy for what it is.
