1999 vintage.Amazing Sangiovese made by legendary Heidi Barett. If I read well between the lines in Kelly A White's fantastic book this should be the last Sangiovese vintage produced by La Sirena before their Sangiovese source disappeared. This really smells like a top-notch Tuscan wine and it keeps on growing in the glass suggesting it is not at all at the end of its evolution. Impressive
