Between a deep ruby and deep purple in color with a crisp, clean nose of black fruits. Distinctly black cherries with notes of blackberries, and plum. I also pick up iron and vanilla. Flavors burst across the palate. Definitely fruit forward, bold, full-bodied with well integrated tannins. I like this style of wine.
