A dark, extracted modern style CDP. Smoky dark berries and some hot stones in the nose. Rich, broad and weighty in the mouth. Low toned on the register. Lots of berry skins and dark minerals. Very low acid and lots of tannin still. Some bitterness from overextraction in the finish. 15%. Not my style but modernists and Parkerites will like it.

Apr 22nd, 20182010. Disappointing. Massive, overripe fruit bomb. I would have a tough time saying where this was from if i hadn't known. Liquid chocolate poured over overripe grape ooze.

Really nice, chewy, plenty of acid and soft tannins. Not Beaucastel but it was also 1/4 the price.
