Goddamn this wine is positively Shakespearean in its mud covered grunting crushed forest berries and dried flowers floating on a cloud. At once primal and ethereal. Conjures twisted visions of some crazy dirt-fairy having a good fight with fresh berries.

2014: Needs a few years in bottle. Great fruit, subtle but steady acid. The tannins from the whole cluster are soft and ripe. Not green or stemmy as others have said. This Pinot is gonna run a good long while.

On the whole I’ve been rather disappointed with Kutch. I find the wines rather astringent and green. Haven’t had one in 2 years, which helped immensely. Berry and floral notes. A shirt spicy finish. Bottle age did this wonders but it still needs time. Recommending holding if you have.

Apr 1st, 2018California or Burgundy?!? Crazy complex and interesting aromatics full of green herbs and garden with spices with a mouth full of red fruit on a full but pillowy texture. Way more going on the second day. This is a wine where I get the "ethereal" description given to some Chambolle and Vosne wines. Beautiful and aesthetic....would go higher but not sure if I like the forward herbaceous nose. Very very similar to Dujac and Montille
