Pronounced “Ah-yor-YEE-ti-ko”, often referred to as St. George, one of Greece’s popular varieties. Deep red, aromas of black fruits and spicy notes. Palate shows blackberry and blueberry flavors with nutty herb character. Firm grippy tannins ending with spiced earth finish.

Tasting this now@Athens in Halifax Canada! Exquisite dark burnished garnet with aromas of cedar, wild sour cherry red currant & Tobacco, lucious red fruit with a soft finish of lavender honey! Decant for 20-30 min to appreciate a more complex tasting and finish . Excellent with Loukaniko fennel orange sausage, souvlaki and light appetizers! Opa!

Understand for what it is in the Greek style made to accompany Northern Greek food this fantastic given that it's hard to get good Greek wines in the US.
