Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir

Beautifully soft and rich with smoke, plum, and cherry. I’m surprised at how fruity it has remained.

A burgundy color with violet and oak but still had that ash and deep blackberry. Bold but not harsh.

SPN. Since last rating it has increased in balance and complexity, still has a great finish and light intensity.

Probably one of the nicest surprises this year. Got to taste this again and great to remember how blown away I was by its peculiar Burgundian style. Notes of wet leafs, forest floor, mushroom, earth, fresh sunkissed cherries, roses. Immediately knew what to expect on the palate. Cheers.

Light fruit on the nose. Lush and smooth, like wrapping your tongue in a light fruit, velvet bath, with a light spice finish. I would not have guessed it's a pinot.

Cherries all day on this. Warmer climate does come out in this. More straightforward but delicious
