The Fimasaurus Red Bordeaux Blend
Napa Valley, California, USA
‘12 in ‘26. This wine was gorgeous. Aged beautifully. Aromatics of pure elegance jumped from the glass. Med+ body and a mix of red and black fruit. Layered without being dense. Revealing something new with each sip. A memorable wine.

Feb 16th, 2026Opulent, hedonistic and broad shoulderd, this blockbuster sculpture wasn't made using small utensils. Huge fruit, huge structure and (if possible) huge acidity for balance. I thought it was better from barrel, but it's still damn impressive. Wait a few more years though, is it needs to shed some of its toasty oak.

Give this a good decant and serve with rich food. This still has a sturdy tannic presence but is rich and delicious.
