38th Anniversary and one of our favorite wines. Very smooth with great fruit notes and a nice finish.

One of the better Old Vine California Zins! Just a well structured, well balanced and pairs very well with cheeses, grilled meats of course and Italian red sauces much like it’s Primitivo ancestor. Always a solid choice for Zin lovers no matter the vintage.

One of my favorite zins. The vintages aren’t so far apart in quality, they always do well because of their harvest and control methods regardless of year. Fruit nose of blackberry and currant, velvet mouth feel, smooth on the palate. Thickness of a cab sav but less tannin or dryness. Fruit taste - strawberry, blackberry, extra light oak, bit of chocolate. Back of the throat is not sharp at all with light, pleasurable alcohol.
