Great value! $26 at Costco. This is a real, clean, well aged entry-level Brunello which is a great companion with Italian dishes. Try it instead of a Chianti and you'll be amazed.

Cranberry and cherry fruit but not overwhelmingly so. The wine pourers a clear read. It has a light but very sophisticated finish. This is my first exposure to Brunello di Mintalchino. I think this one would be one of the very best pairings with game turkey or roast chicken. It went wonderfully with the pasta and red sauce that I had it with.
