Nose has light florals, fresh lemon peel and wet limestone.
Palate has sweet (not tart) lemon, (too) light acidity and light mineral/saline finish.
This was $18 at our Costco. I was intrigued when I saw this vintage, it easily drinks like established Chablis at ~$25. No one should hesitate to buy at least a bottle or two, or more.
Picking up a white peach note the longer the wine is open, nice. đź‘Ť

Half the fun of drinking Costco wines is figuring out exactly where they came from. The two premier cru blocks this wine is made of(Vau Ligneau & Vaugiraut) come from the far eastern edge of the Chablis region and have south western facing slopes. So yes if you’re being picky you can say that these blocks don’t flank the Grand Cru blocks, but you get more quality here then you would think. For less than $20 you get a very tart green apple with medium acidity and a good mineral finish bouquet of flavors. Costco is doing a wonderful job with the smooth and delicious wines being offered at very accessible prices. Would definitely drink again.
