Complex and layered with sage, lavender and clove. Time reveals concentrated fleshy blackberry and wet stones. What a treat. Glad I have one more of these.

Even better than the 2006. Worthy of the praise.

In a nice drinking window but plenty of time left on this wine. The nose is a beautiful mix of currants, strawberry, licorice, fresh flowers, a heady perfume reminiscent of a great CdP. The palate is medium to full bodied, where the aromatic character adds flavors of blueberry and spice to the palate. Elegant and persistent through the mid-palate to a full finish. The tannins are drying, but only noticeable for a short part of the finish.
