Needs a decant. When it opens its lush, blackberry, dark, bramble.

Very interesting perfume to the nose. Modest oak n color. Dried out a bit on the finish and shortened up a bit. Would've like a longer finish.

Luv Keplinger Rhône Valley Blends! These grapes are from Amador County. Nice to compare it to her Napa blend. Color - med reddish-brown. Plum and raspberry-cherry fruit bounce off the nose with a floral smoke and tobacco scent; some mineral, wet tea and orange peel lingers. Taste is a definite sweet raspberry with some tar, cedar, crushed rock and vanilla-caramel taste on the mid-pallet. Tannins are well integrated and should drink now.

1/2 hour decant (little cloudy sediment). An astonishing medium reddish brown garnet color. On the nose: plum, smoke, sweet Tobacco, raspberry, slightly floral, orange peel. Taste: A smooth mouth feel with some sweet raspberry, tar, cedar, crushed stone, caramel. Resolved tannins and just a medium finish...nice wine, nothing complex, on the downside with a few more years left. Drink em if you got em

Power, restrained. Approachable, complex Grenache.

Surprisingly ripe for the vintage, perhaps site(s) that are expose greatly to sun. Pretty pricey for Amador 🤐!
