Old cherry red color, nice and mature. Nice expression on the nose with the perfect intensity. Subtle and educated funkiness is what opens the nose; aromas of shitake mushroom, tofu, then pure and ripe cherries. To me, this is the lady expression of the character of this varietal, however, quite expressive. Very elegant cherry expression; great depth from the middle towards the end. Nice tartness in the acidity and on, showing elegant structure and character, then beautiful flare that closes this wine in very lingering finish. 92+ pts.

Jul 22nd, 2014Beautiful old cherry color, quite burgundian with medium density. Same old red cherry aroma, neatly adorned with sandalwood and a bit of shoe polish. Enters decisively in the palate. This is a serious Pinot Noir, showing both new world and old world traits. The cherry flavor acidity is incredibly sensational and mouth watering. This wines explodes after the third quarter, giving rainbow skittles and red licorice flavors. Quite fruitbomby, but always sustained by its firm and long structure of delicious tannins. Finishes very long and tasteful. Quite harmonic. 94 pts.
