Took some time to open up. Decant for sure. Slight cork when I first opened, but that seemed to burn off. Opened up pretty nice.

Pours bright red aromas of tobacco and dust with a blast of blackberry. Flavors of cigar box earth and raspberry. Low acid with a somewhat quick finish. Be careful what you pair with this. We have a mild flavored pasta dish and the food is overpowering the wine.

Dark fruit, currant and tobacco on nose. Sundried tomato and nutmeg aromas. Incredible depth and intensity, yet refined. Long finish. Just...awesome.

This 2011 is a very nice Cabernet that is being paired with a nice steak.
Complex, nice balanced tannins and a smooth finish.
