Sipping Fine Wine

A single vineyard expression aged for 13 months in 50% new and 50% two-year-old French oak barrels. Aromas of red and dark berry fruits with earthy spice notes. On the palate, raspberry, cherry and plum flavors, rich and complex with nice mouthfeel, integrated tea spice and oak. Fine smooth tannins with good balance of acidity has plenty of room to develop. Long finish with subtle earthy character, an outstanding wine.

Lovely Pinot Noir with red fruits, hibiscus and potting soil aromas. Slight notes of clove & underripe plum on the palate. Vibrant medium+ acidity and a raspberry taste on the finish.

Had a glass with the neighbor last night and this is what he was pouring. Thought it was a higher elevation wine with the way it was drinking. Fruit was nice a prominent but like I said it sort of had an alpine thing going on. Very different from the Burgundies that I normally drink but that’s what nice about drinking wine from all over the world.
