California Zinfandel

Paired perfectly with an herbes de Provence crusted pork chop!

Zinfandel has never been my favourite grape, but this is a well produced example of Napa Zin. Flavourful, plummy, medium bodied

Nothing really jumps out at you, but it's very drinkable.

Fantastic cab-ish structure but lighter feel

Very pleasant with a slight acid but full berry that has sweet and some layering, very drinkable and nice. Light berry smell but comes on strong with tannin and missing finishing layer and smooth finish.

Good value. Nice wine for a byo pizza joint.

Ken this is a solid Zin for the price! And it's great with a Montecristo Habana no DOB pin required

Slight oak nose, vanilla, pepper and cherry palate (yet not very dry). Lacks layers and/or depth.

Not a sexy Zin but still very enjoyable.

Beautiful rich color

Nose: Bit closed. Earthy and a hint of a blended red fruit jam. Opened up to some vanilla

Palate: Big full body like you would expect from a Cali Zin. Med tannins in the middle tongue. Plum and cloves prominent for me. Felt a bit unbalanced with some astringent qualities/heavy acidity. Nice long pepper finish that stayed with me.

Overall nice table wine probably better with food. This one missed the mark in the wrong ways for me. Certain aspects were outstanding but just felt unstructured! From what I hear the 2014 crop of napa zin is the best yet, will be looking forward to see what they can do next year!
