Chablis Chardonnay

I’ve gone spelunking in a mineral quarry; it’s huge, bold and beautiful. Definitely more masculine. The tingling acidity keeps it fresh. Lemons and orange peel dominate the palate. The chalky finish keeps going and going.

Weightier than the Duplessis. Wondering if it's nature of the vintage or producer - guessing both. Warm tropical fruit palate that's really inviting.

Citrus, chalky minerality. Textbook Chablis.

Nice bright acidity accompanied by citrus flavors and melon (cantaloupe?) on the nose. Solid QPR.

Cooler when colder, on a hot day in a hot place, which is what is happening in VA Bch today, at Catch 31, where I am eating some naked broc and light poke while sipping, swirling and considering this lightly dressed dancer bathed in clean rain and dressed in pale greens dangling green beans baptized in a mineral-rich pond begging plunder softened with sweet kisses dripping honey dew, with the evening closing in...

Hmm more acidic than last week. Still delish
