La Villaudière Sancerre Sauvignon Blanc

Ehh. When limited by LCBO. It’s a Sancerre.

Drank with barramundi with a light lemon sauce. Very good pairing. Light, good mouthfeel, slightly floral, some citrus. Medium-length finish. Very enjoyable wine.

2017 vintage.
Have only had this varietal a couple times but I really enjoyed it. A light, crisp white wine. A bit acidic on the front but nice finish. Would definitely buy again.

Strawberry. Round tannins. Pinot noir.

Solid everyday wine from Costco

Floral...that’s all I got

Stony with good acidity. Notes of peach and gooseberry, and a strong finish.

Pleasant spice flavor to go with the dry clean Sanserre sav blanc drink. Not much aroma to precede a taste, but welcome and refreshing.

A tad too sweet.

Bright mineral flavors, clean, tastes fit for dining on oysters or just a warm afternoon on the pool deck. Missing the aromas that would make this in the excellent category.
