Jean Foillard
Morgon Gamay

Raspberry compote, dried strawberry, wet stones, white pepper. Snapping rounded acidity, medium bodied, satin texture, minimal but firm smooth velvet tannins, smoky-peppery-slightly floral finish. Mineral/texture driven. Really tight, aromatics needed an hour to open up.

Young nose of tart cherry and a metallic dimension. The palate is yummy. Berry again, silky tannins, moderately long finish. A joyful wine. Much easier than cote du py in the same vintage.
