Premier cru quality and character. Brothy, wet old sea shell, pungent chalk dust, lemon juice, straw, apple. Crisp and flavorful. Lots of Chablis earthiness in the mouth. Fairly long finish. Decent acids.

Beautiful nose right out of the gate. Ripe, straw-inflected Chardonnay, and massive amounts of limestoney, seashelly minerality. Feels more like a 15 than a 14 stylistically, as it has some weight in the mouth and the acidity is a little more gentle like 15. These are going to be lots of fun over the next 18 months. Very extroverted.
