Singing right off the bat on the pnp. Love the vintage for Mugnier. It’s elegant, airy and pure with a simultaneous intensity. Sweet red cherries, hibiscus, dried flowers, sous bois, minerals and exotic spices. There is layered complexity and terrific focus. Lifted, harmonious and persistent finish. Beautiful. 07 red Burgundy drinking so well right now!

From wine list at Alinea. Earthy nose with notes of ripe black cherry, mocha, coffee.
Rich and chewy, got more expressive with air. Really nice. Will improve with more age.

Always elegant and lush. 07's drinking great right now at that 10 yr mark. Drink up though as the acidity is fading.

Pop and pour. This time my wife said it: this is good, but is now inching downward. On the nose: soft game, cherry, brown sugar, spice, bark, savory herbs. On the palate: good acidity up front, cola, root beer, soft medicinal herbs. Fantastic density, and completely secondary, but leaning tertiary. A touch of tannin hanging on at the finish. In a very good place, but definitely beginning its decline.
