Dec 25th, 20182002. Another favorite of mine! Color is a deep red-purple garnet with some definite bricking. Nose - cherry and currants dominate with a cream brûlée sweetness. Secondary notes of pine, menthol and crushed rock follow. Taste- a creamy and smooth well balanced feel with plum, sour cherry, cigar box, and leather flavors; notes of spice, anise and stone follow giving this wine a medium finish.

Decant for sediment (lots of chunky/cloudy sediment) and pour. A dazzling medium purplish garnet color with some bricking. On the nose: subtle notes of creme de cassis, earth, black olives, pine, menthol, stewed prunes, crushed rocks. Taste: A smooth, creamy, velvety tannins coat the mouth of this full body wine with sour cherry, cigar, leather, spice, anise and a flinty crushed stone finish. YUM!!

Soft, fruity, a bit sweet with a tad of minerality. Extremely well balanced. The best I've had from Jason Woodbridge.

Totally a new world experience. Dark cooked fruits with supple tannins and long finish. This wine is still in its youthful prime. An incredible treat.
