Lemon Yellow in colour. Muted nose initially giving a mineral and lemon note. Very lemony and citrus generally on the palate, eventually a stony, river pebble like minerality. Bracing acidity which will see this go on for a few more years. The following day a marine shell note. Preferred the 2013 Deep Woods Reserve Chardonnay for a quarter of the price.

Pale to mid Lemon in colour. Funky aromas which blew off after 20 minutes Citrus aromas. On the palate citrus with pronounced minerality and acid finishing with a salty note inviting you to take another sip. I remember reading about the terroir of St Aubin which gives it a cool environment. Delicate wine. Drinking well now but will go on for a few years yet. Impressive.

Mature with some secondary toasty caramel quality, but the reduced mineral tinged pant style is still strong. There was no premox issues, and the only problem with the wine is that texturally it was a little disjointed and maybe a touch richer than I would prefer. The oak was not fully integrated either... it also just got off of the plane with me, so who knows, maybe it was a bit shook up🤷‍♂️

Still incredibly rich and youthful for a 10 year old wine. Happy to have had this with some excellent crab cakes.

Hell yes! 9 years and a strong baby. Light but thorough, with a cool kinda spearmint note. If you have this, you can drink without worry.

Very fresh, with a long life ahead. Great acidity and overall structure, framed with vanilla, mineral, pear.
