Horse & Plow ‘Testa Vineyard Carignane’ 2013: Medium-bodied. Medium tannins. Medium acidity. Plum. Cherry. Spice. Oak. Earth. Smooth appealing finish. A lovely hand-crafted, small production wine (only 8 barrels!) from the Mendocino area of Northern California. This was the last of a handful of Horse & Plow wines I purchase roughly 7 years ago. I saved this one as it seemed like the most unique and age worthy at the time. All in all, it fared well. The wine was still very fresh & alive with nice fruity taste. Time to explore all of the new Horse & Plow offerings. Great weekend to all! Cheers🍷

Needs some time to breath before drinking, but once it opens you're treated to a pleasingly tart, cranberry and forest floor finish. I'd let this sit out overnight and drink second day.
