This a prodigious young PN that blossomed after a couple hours in the decanter. Still very primary. Cherry and cedar dominant with significant depth. If you can resist hold for a couple years.

Very fragrant, baking spice and rhubarb. Elegance and strength, tightly wound at first but unraveled to reveal sweet, rich fruit.

First time I had this wine a couple years ago it was an “ah-ha” moment of what California pinot noir could be. Structure, length, lift. A revisit today is a hair less compelling with a slightly green note on the finish. But nonetheless it is a wine that should last a while and I’m excited to follow over the next decade
