Aug 24th, 2020On this Sunday night I have opened the 2017 Hermann J. Wiemer Cabernet Franc from Seneca Lake of the Finger Lakes in New York.
On the nose I get the red fruits of strawberry, raspberry sauce, cherry, roasted jalapeño, herbs, a vegetable note, smoaky oak and graphite.
On the palate there is cherry, raspberry, red currant, green bell pepper, mint, spice, herbs and minerality.
