This wine has improved markedly in the year and a half since I last had it. It now rivals the 2014, but is less exuberant and a little more medium-bodied. I don’t know if it’ll improve further, but it’s terrific right now.

Lighter body Zin. Silky and nice nuanced fruit. Pepper restrained.

Nov 18th, 2017I liked this best on pop-and-pour. The alcohol and acidity seemed to stick out a bit as the boisterous fruit took a step back.

Excellent. Should have rated it when I drank it. Fruit but not a fruit bomb. Slight oak but not obnoxious.
