The stewed, raisiny aromatics are a good reminder of what to avoid in the upcoming harvest. Good structure and length.

Minty with forest floor undertones, open and giving. Glad I didn't let it sit longer

Second of two pinots. Held its own with light cherries and spices. Had more acidity than I’m used to, but still an enjoyable bottle.

Raspberries and forest floor. Lovely tannins. Could wait a few more year but a weekend bonus!

Raspberries, strawberries, stone fruits, and a hint licorice. Give time to breathe and flavors blend, soften, and evolve. Seems like it wants to do more, so will wait another few years to try the second bottle.

Big wine. Very good but too extracted for me. Dark fruit tastes almost like a Cab. Still very tannic. Cardamom. Bark. An excellent wine but essentially not my style and not typical of what one would expect of this grape.

Did fit in well with the German Pinot’s. Plenty of acid hint of prune plum - cherry and spice - very tart - a ton of acid. Cellar for 10 more years. Very impressive. One of the best bigger style Pinot’s made in the US. Pricy.
