Firing on all cylinders. Lemon curd and frangipane with mint. Great spot with a ton of time in front of it.

Very light and fresh. Focused hi toned fruit with real minerality and precision. A long finish.

One of the most bewitching Chards I have tasted this year. 3D/HD creaminess and complexity.

10' Hanzell Chardonnay. A small percentage of these vines have survived from 1953. I think they are the oldest remaining Chardonnay vines in North America?

Hanzell wines are certainly built to age. The 2010 will keep evolving for many years to come.

Decanted for an hour. Served at cellar temperature. Perfume & citrus nose. Peach, pancake batter, wet-stone. A chalky & lemony finish.

Let it open up in your glass. The acidity softens up . Pear ,melon core. Will age beautifully for another five years. This wine is so very consistent.

If chardonnay had a textbook, Hanzell would have its own chapter.
