Nose is light green apple confectionary notes, minerals. Nose closes down after 5 minutes. Palate is nice. Loads of green apple, very very German. Green Apple jolly rancher. Luscious, mousse is good but in the background. Good length. Chewy. Balanced, pure, high acidity but well integrated. Juicy. Decent length. Good cut.

Had I not known what this was, I would have said champagne from a drier house style. But it’s sparkling Riesling and a delight! Green Apple and pear, mingling with flint, buttery lees quality, characteristic petrol hints on the nose, a touch of brioche, lemon, yellow plum, and lots of acid to keep the fruit balanced. Superb sipper

First time trying a Sekt and I’m a big fan. Really crisp with balanced acidity and mineral-driven fruity overtones. White peach, lemon verbena, lemon meringue, and stone fruit. Paired perfectly with Thai for dinner. Served chilled in Riedel Performance flutes.
