Founded in Aÿ in 1584 by Pierre Gosset, Gosset is the oldest wine house in Champagne. A blend of 57% Chardonnay and 43% Pinot Noir, pale gold with stone, tropical and citrus notes. Fine mousse, persistent bubbles, apricot, pineapple and lemon with big mineral tones. Lingering finish ending with yeasty notes. Good but not one of their best. Pricey.

Damn tasty. Subdued mousse, some autolytic flavors from long lees ageing with hazelnut, white flowers, lemon curd. Somewhat mineral on the finish.
