Top Notes For
Sipping Fine Wine

In 1997, Goldeneye harvested its first grapes, a modest 375 cases of wine. Ruby with aromas of ripe red fruits with layers of herb and spice scents. Grapes blended from several vineyards and aged in French oak for 16 months, the palate had flavors of cranbery & wild cherry fruit, with sweet currants adding smoke, leather, cacao and earthy tones, nice mouthfeel that lingered to a long finish. Complex, consistent. Very Nice! Perfect!

Great wine with great friends and family. First time having Goldeneye was with Mr & Mrs E at House of Prime Rib in SF, and now in Phoenix.

Bottle #3 post post-thanksgiving round of golf (in Minnesota). Cayenne tinged burnt caramel on the nose, velvety mouthfeel and a rich finish provide a nice wrap up to the afternoon. On to the main event shortly. Bring on the uber.
