Just OK - med bodied & not as gutsy (or elegant for that matter) as I like my Barolo... dark ruby, not quite opaque, with generous cherry & raspberry aromas along with muted secondary layers of a high toned leafy variety, little tar, some exotic spices, violets & bitter cacao. Decent on palate & bit astringent on finish. Best part of this wine was the empty glass.

Costco buy. $30, WS 93. 2 hour decant. Medium bodied, smooth, ripe cherry on nose & palate, with menthol/eucalyptus kick on the finish. Very enjoyable.
