Nice wine, but don’t understand the French varieties. Nebbiolo doesn’t need help, IMHO. Tart cherry concentrate.

@Nueve de los buenos! Wine making tradition! Old winery making some of the best. This one is light, balanced with a silky texture.
Needs to air well before drinking.

For retail price of $45, it’s overpriced maybe because of the name Gaja. It is a good wine with character (tannins, acidity and fruit).

Very nice, medium red wine. A tad rough to start but opened up very quickly and was great with steak.

Fantastic wine. Wet leather, spiced cherries and plums, Fig Newton, mild game, mild menthol, and potpourri fragrance.

Perfect temp. Dark cherry and must on the nose. Spiced blackberry compote. Licorice and a hint of graphite. Sleek but filling out as it opens up. Smooth finish

Beautiful aromatics. Relatively ripe for a Nebbiolo based Rosso. Tannins are incredibly well integrated. Drinks beautifully right now.

Energetic, light and agile but has enough stuffing to handle a burger or even a lighter weight (though savory) steak, thanks to some smoky, tarry depth on the back end.
