Smells like a vegetable garden; tomato leaf, dill pickles, celery. A real Bloody Mary wine. Hazy orange/copper in the glass, very much like cider or sour beer. Fun, fresh, and layered. I understand the smoke and white pepper people are noting. Food really kicks it into high gear. Just outstanding with shrimp Mozambique! Bit pricey though.

Insane. Raw peanut shells on the nose. Karob, black pepper. Dark pink wine.

Whoa, Nelly! Wild strawberries, blueberries, stewed cherries and red plum intermingled with black tea and a mesquite-smoked meaty flavor. This wine is all over the place in a good way. Somewhat cidery, somewhat vinous and reminiscent of a fizzy Poulsard (it's 100% Blauer Wildbacher). It's like Bugey-Cerdon goes to Steiermark but keeps things pretty dry. I've had this twice in the last two days, and the first time was noticeably more fizzy than the second. That being said, it was super-enjoyable on both occasions, regardless.

Unacceptable Schilcher, having little resemblance to wine.
