Tastes like old apple juice, which I mean in the best way possible.

Not flawed an any way but not at all my cup of tea and not what I want in a Vouvray. Hint of petroleum on the nose straight out of the bottle, but the taste is a strange mix of really excellent acid structure and sweet apple juice that fight it out right until the after taste.

I can tell it's quality, but I'd love to try a version with no residual sugar. For me like someone poured Snapple into a stellar dry wine.

Late-ish harvesting yields some off dryness, balanced by lots of acid, beautifully detailed and perfectly balanced, highly aromatic already although a bit closed off early on. For the long haul

Toffee, vanilla. More residual sugar thus like chewing on a sugar cane. 18 g/l of sugar.

Excellent. As advertised. Dry with a hint of residual sugar. Really enjoyed this.
