Pretty color of dark ruby with a reddish/brick rim.

Great nose of black currants, blackberries, cedar, licorice, cola, chocolates, earth, eucalyptus, light vanilla, vegetables, mint, herbs, spices and black pepper.

Full bodied and smooth with medium acidity and long legs.

Dry on the palate with black fruits, oak, licorice, spices, light vanilla, espresso, chocolates, earth, vegetables, Indian spices, wet leaves, dirt, black pepper, pencil lead, tobacco leaf and peppercorn.

Spicy finish with nice length and fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.

This is a very tasty Cabernet Sauvignon from Mount Veeder in Napa Valley. Showing nice complexity with a nice mouthfeel.

This 11 year old is nicely balanced, at this point, and good by itself or with food. Will be good in the next 5 years.

I decanted it for 3 hours, which is when the tannins showed up.

I paired it with a Charcuterie board of meats and cheeses. Delicious.

14.5% alcohol by volume.

93 points.

Dark ruby (almost black) in color with a reddish rim.

Strong nose of baked cherries, black plums, red currants, light cedar, vanilla, licorice, tobacco, eucalyptus, dark chocolates, spices, black pepper, pencil lead, dirt and herbs.

Medium plus in body and smooth, with medium plus acidity and long legs.

Dry on the palate with plums, cherries, sweet strawberries, currants, wood, spices, light vanilla, tobacco, light alcohol, espresso, earth, pencil lead, coke and peppercorn.

Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.

This is a very tasty, and nicely aged, Cabernet Sauvignon from Mount Veeder in Napa Valley. Showing a great nose and a complex palate, with a nice mouthfeel.

Not a typical Napa Cabernet, and very unique for the region. A good quality wine with a pretty nose.

This 10 year old is still young and not showing its age much. Would be nice to revisit it in 3 years.

Needs 2 hours to open up properly, so be patient.

Tangy and good with food, too. I paired it with a charcuterie board of meats and cheeses. Great with the brie cheese.

Why 77 you ask. Because in 1977 AJ became the first Indy driver to win the 500 4 times. Probably only the skip knew that lol @TheSkip The wine? Balanced, oaky minerals. Drinks like a European but nay can be. AJ all American. BlackBerries. Dark cherries. Grab it if you can catch it. Vroom vroom vroom
