Surprising dryness and ripping acid. Lees and aldehydes gave for a more funky/earthy expression of CB that really screamed for food

So hard to keep from tapping into few bottles I have left: elegant, transparent. Less of the wooly mouthfeel as more Burgundian. Yellow plum more in core. Killer stuff-went w salt baked red snapper.

Meh.

So, I had never heard/remembered this producer before. Just had it tonight and it was markedly good. Racy and tight for a Chenin. Lots of (white!) tannins at the end. Waaay cool.
