Great value for what you get more complex and earthier than the Rasteau VDN

Fun and certainly yummy, but not my favorite Port. Had with Stilton cheese and there was a nice dance on the palate between sweet and salty.

Very nice, maybe too jammy for some, though. Excellent for the price.

Inky in color with a purplish rim.

Beautiful sweet nose of blackberries, alcohol, blueberries, cherries, oak, licorice, figs, raisins vanilla, cloves, smoke, earth, leather and black pepper.

Full bodied and buttery, with medium acidity and soft legs.

Sweet on the palate with blackberries, plums, cherries, black currants, oak, vanilla, licorice, cloves, earth, leather, chocolates, tobacco, spices and peppercorn.

Nice sweet finish with spices and round tannins.

This is a great dessert wine. Balanced, smooth and enjoyable by itself.

After 5 years of aging in oak barrels, it was bottled Unfiltered, so now it is rich and concentrated. Just delicious.

I Paired it with a chocolate cake.

20% alcohol by volume.

93 points Wine Spectator.

A bit jammy for me. Not the best Port I have had but for price not bad. Others in group liked it more.

This is a really nice Port. Held up beautifully, even after being open for months.
