Very drinkable, under $20 blend. 2011 especially good, other recent vintages not so hot.

A purple wine with ruby red highlights and a stony black fruit nose expressing a lot of minerality. There's a hint of spice and slight mint and licorice notes riding on a blue-black fruit palate. Grip is medium, acidity is medium, finish is medium long.

Not surprised that it got 90 points. Big. Oaky. Fruity. I'm already bored

This petite was fairly light bodied, light spices, and filled with warm, delicate hints of blackberry and raspberry.

Ok. This wine is a stemmy mess. The bottle feels very important, and it's ancient looking papyrus label, makes me feel like I have discovered a fragment of the Dead Sea scrolls. But like some fragments of the DSS, this one takes a lot of imagination to make it good. It is old world earthy on the nose, but hot. Medicinal and bubblegum on the palate, very politician meets snake oil salesman. I let it evolve in glass for hours, but tastes like a holly leaf after a present-less holiday. No idea how much this costs, but I like Dimetapp grape better. It is so stemmy and lingering as to be almost parasitic. Who drinks this? Voodoo dolls on Robutussin DM, snorting caffeine pills? It literally tastes like aspirin soaked in tobacco water and grape Kool-Ade with gin and chalk notes. Terrible. Doctor Strange.

Nice blend. Waiting for this magnum to open up; figured a 2011 would be flavorful. Strong notes of blackberry and vanilla. Nice finish.

Light drinking wine. Easy on the nose. Light tannins. My wife is finishing the bottle. She gives it about a 9.2. I am not so generous. But for a screw cap wine, I was happily surprised. 2011 vintage.
