This was very closed at first and evolved in the glass. Grapefruit, lemon and candied pineapple on the nose. The palate is somewhat restrained with flavors of tropical fruits with some bitterness (pith?). Strong acidity and a very crisp finish. While good now, I think this will be better with some more time perhaps. Will revisit.

Favia. Intensely focused, high tone aromatics, midpalate heft, grace abounds.

13' Favia Linea Sauvignon Blanc. This bottle keeps evolving. In just one year the fruit is coming out. The acidity/acid has subsided. The stone fruits are apparent. The palate is also full of melon & honeydew. A crisp finish. Pairing this with a multitude of different foods. Nice bottle!

2013 Favia Linea 72% SB & 28% Sauvignon Musque . A fascinating multilayered wine. Sharp tropical fruits on the nose. Palate is unique... grapefruit, honeydew... a touch of vanilla & a hint of oak. Washes clean with crisp acidity. 45 minuets in the glass... tropical paradise! No problem setting this aside for another 5+ years.
